South Lanarkshire Conservatives gathered to thank supporters, friends and families for their help in this year's election campaigns.
Secretary of State for Scotland David Mundell MP joined MSPs and councillors to express their appreciation to all those whose work helped the party achieve historic results.
In May the party won 14 seats on South Lanarkshire Council, up from just four in the previous term.
The stunning result meant the county has more Conservative councillors than any other local authority in Scotland.
June's General Election also saw huge increases in the Conservative vote across each of the area's constituencies.
The barbecue in Lanark was hosted by Cllr Richard Elliot-Lockhart.
It was also an opportunity for friends and colleagues to celebrate the retirement of former councillors Hamish Stewart and Anne Kegg.
Hamish previously represented Clydesdale East while Anne represented Bothwell and Uddingston.
While they decided the last council term would be their last and opted not to seek re-election in May, the pair remain active in the local Conservative Party.
In March, Hamish was elected chair of the South Lanarkshire Conservative & Unionist Constituency Association, with Anne elected vice-chair.
